Degree Course in Computer Science and Engineering imparts quality education appropriate to the needs of industry. The department emphasizes curriculum augmentation in courses to ensure students gain knowledge of the current trends in computing. The labs are particularly designed to implement the latest software and tools of the computer science engineering.
DEPARTMENT OF ELECTRONICS & COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING
Electronics & Communication Engineering is a continuously evolving subject. As technology has advanced, so have the challenges facing the modern engineer. ECE is a subject that naturally partners with other disciplines to open whole new engineering avenues. Examples include Mechatronics – with Mechanical Engineering, Bio-medical Sciences-with Medicine and Avionics-with Aeronautics. The ECE Department prepares students using new-age information and computer- intensive technologies.
Communications is an industry that has changed our lives in a very short period it has changed the way we have looked at things since centuries. It is one industry that is going to shape our future for centuries to come. Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) is rapidly progressing field with technology enveloping our everyday life, opportunities for electronics engineers are endless.
The B.Tech degree program is designed to achieve a balance between depth of knowledge acquired through specialization and breadth of knowledge gained through exploration. The undergraduate degree courses offered by the department provide a comprehensive foundation in the core topics of ECE coupled with an area of specialization relevant to emerging engineering challenges. The curriculum has been designed to create professional electrical and electronic engineers, who can serve in the fields of core electrical engineering, information and communication systems, and other related fields.
The focus of the program is to inculcate the formal education and extensive practical application in fundamental and advancement of Electronics & Communication Engineering. The flexible course study at JMS, HAPUR allowed student to expand their knowledge in their desired field of research.
DEPARTMENT OF MECHANICAL & AUTOMOBILE ENGINEERING
Mechanical engineers require a solid understanding of key concepts including mechanics, kinematics, thermodynamics, energy and manufacturing. They use these principles in the design and analysis of automobiles, aircrafts, heating and cooling systems, buildings and bridges, industrial equipment and machinery and many more.
The automobile industry in India has witnessed a rapid growth over the last couple of decades and in recent years it has also captured the attention of the whole world with some innovative products. It includes manufacturing of cars, two-wheelers like motorcycles, scooters, bikes, passenger cars, trucks, tractors, defense vehicles and buses. The automobile industry can be widely divided into car manufacturing, heavy vehicle manufacturing and two-wheeler manufacturing. It requires a skilled and trained manpower with good technical knowledge. There are plenty of employment opportunities for the qualified people and they can select a career in Automobile Industry, which leads to bright future.
The B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering is a comprehensive degree program. The goal of the curriculum is to create a flexible undergraduate educational experience in design, mathematics, modeling, computing, management, engineering science, humanities, social sciences and fine arts, Principal study topics include fluid mechanics, Thermodynamics and heat transfer, Solid mechanics, Material engineering, Manufacturing, Energy systems, Dynamics and control, Computer Aided Design(CAD), Computer Integrated Manufacturing(CIM) and others.
This broad and flexible program allows students to customize their programs to meet their objectives and particular carrier goals. Traditional student can prepare for technological carrier in industry, graduate school or management. The more interdisciplinary students can utilize this program as a launching pad for professional carriers in business or public services.
The objective of B.Tech program in Automobile Engineering is to give students a broad exposure in the design, development and testing of automobiles. Furthermore, the program trains them to meet the technological challengesand diverse needs of the industry and society in various areas of automobile engineering and equips them to excel ina truly competitive industry.
