Mr. Rakesh Kumar Singhal s/o Shri Hans Raj Singhal (M.A. (Urdu) a leading manufacturer & exporter of Handloom goods & products and also an old Gandhian) R/o Kavi Nagar, Ghaziabad. He graduated in B.Com with first division with Hons. In 1978. After graduation, he joined C.A. training and passed C.A. Part I in 1980. After completion of C.A. training he joined the handloom manufacturing and export business of his father along with his elder brother. He looked after the accounts, cash flow, banks, sales tax, income tax, purchase and government departments since 1982.
He joined his elder brother’s business of cement in 1985. He was running a firm carrying on business of the C&F Agent and sales promoters of the Jaipur Udyog Ltd., a government undertaking in 1985 and also started the working for Maiher Cement (Prop. Century Textiles & Ind. Ltd.) and J.K. Lakshmi Cement Ltd. He, along with his elder brother, also started a medicine manufacturing unit in the name & style AD Pharma Pvt. Ltd., Side IV, Sahibabad in 1986 and a Solvent Plant at Rudrupur (Uttaranchal) in the name & style (Agarwal Solvent Extraction) Solvex India in 1993 and also a manufacturing unit of Jute Spinning Mill in the name & style of Pioneer India Pvt. Ltd. E-209, Sec. 17, Kavi Nagar, Ind. Area, Ghaziabad sponsored by central govt. under Jute promotion council of India in the same year. At present they are the consignment, C&F Agent & Sales Promoters of J.K Lakshmi Cement Ltd. Since 1987.
He started, along with a group of other promoters, an Engineering College in the name of Ideal Institute of Technology in the year 1997, which is running very successfully. In 1998-99, he resigned from the above Engineering College due to personal reasons.
In 2001, He formed another society in the name of Shree Bankey Bihari Educational Society (Regd.) with seven other members. He is working as secretary of the society since October, 2001. The society is running a Dental college in the name & style of Shree Bankey Bihari Dental College, Masuri, Ghaziabad. The DCI/Union Govt. (Health Department) has allotted 100 seats in BDS and 28 seats in MDS. The college is running very successfully and producing good results.
During his association with the above society, he gained very good experience of setting up and running educational colleges successfully. He was instrumental in acquisition of land for the project and construction of the college building. He was also looking after the financial, legal and administrative work of the college.
On the success of above Dental college, He along with Treasurer of Shree Bankey Bihari Educational Society formed a new society with six other members in the name and style of Shree Ganpati Educational Society (Regd.) and setup an Engineering, Pharma and Management College in the name of Shri Ganpati Institute of Technology, Masuri, Ghaziabad in the year 2005, which is running successfully. In 2006-07, he resigned from the above society due to personal reasons.
In June 2008, he as Secretary of Maa Bhagwati Educational Society started a technical college with ultra-modern facilities under ideal and hygienic conditions near masuri canal which is providing quality education in engineering, management, science and vocation. We are also proving scholarship to brilliant students since the beginning.
In July 2009, he as General Secretary of Jai Maa Savitri Educational Society started another technical college with ultra-modern facilities under ideal and hygienic conditions near Rampur village, Hapur-by-pass, Hapur which is providing quality education in engineering, architecture, management, science and traditional streams. We are also proving scholarship to brilliant students since the beginning.
He is dedicated to serve the Society & Nation, in his own capacity.
